FAQ'S

Do I have to sign a contract for pooper scooper services?
No contracts! You can start, pause, and cancel your subscription at any time by updating your
customer portal, emailing us or giving us a call.
Do I have to be there when you service my yard?
No. In fact we have clients that we have never officially met!
Can my dogs be in the yard while you scoop?
While we love dogs, and they are one of the reasons many of us started working in this field, our
insurance regulations require no dogs be in the yard while we work. This is to protect both the
scooper and your dogs. (However, we would love to meet them sometime.)
Do you service yards year-round?
Absolutely! As long as your pets are using the yard we are scooping. In winter, most of the
waste that accumulates is still scoopable.
What if it is raining or snowing on my day of service?
With the exception of extremely heavy rain or thunder and lightning storms, we are not afraid to
get wet and will still scoop your yard on your scheduled day of service. In case of a snowstorm
or a day when there is ice on the roads, we may need to cancel service for that day or if given
enough notice scoop your yard a day earlier or later. In rare cases, we may need to skip your yard
for the week and pick back up service the next week. Weather credits are given in this instance.
Should I unlock my gate?
Yes. Any gates should be unlocked, and gateways should be unblocked for easy access to the
yard. We send a picture through our program after each service showing that the gate is closed
and latched after we are done. If we are unable to latch it for any reason, we will let you know in
the comments section of your visit report.
Can I skip a week?
Of course. We all deserve to have time off. Unlike other companies that charge whether they
scoop or not, we will not charge you if we are not on the property. Just remember to let us know
in advance as there will be a charge if we come to your property and your yard does not need to
be scooped.
How does billing work?
We work on a prepaid billing cycle. Invoices are generated on the 15th of each month and are
due on the 1st of the following month for that month's service.
How do I pay you?
We accept credit card payments, or automatic drafts from your account. Unlike many
companies in our industry, we do not require cards to be on file or otherwise require automatic
payments, though it is highly suggested that you enroll in this program so payment is on time
each month. Automatic payments are processed on the first of each month. You can authorize
payment from your account at any time through your online account.
Is there a client referral program?
Yes. For each new client that lists you as a referral and pays for at least a month, you will receive
a $20 credit to your account. (Make sure they mention your name when signing up to receive proper credit)
How do you ensure the safety of my dogs?
The safety of our clients and their dogs is a top priority at Scoop Savvy. To ensure all dogs are
safe, we clean all our equipment and shoes between each yard with a kennel-grade disinfectant to
prevent the spread of germs. We also take gate pictures when we are done cleaning, so you know
your pets won’t get out of the yard, and we ensure all our employees have background checks
performed.
How do you dispose of the pet waste after each cleanup?
Proper disposal is essential to environmental safety as dog poop is considered a hazardous
material. We will double bag the waste and place it in each customer’s trash can or neatly on the
side of their house, or wherever the customer directs us too.
Do you guarantee your work?
We sure do! If you’re unhappy with anything, just notify us.
How much does it cost to hire a professional pooper scooper?
Scoop Savvy has pooper scooper service plans starting as low as $20 per week. However, pricing is based on the number of dogs, the last time your yard was scooped, and the frequency of our visits.
Is there a first-time or new sign-up clean-up fee?
An accumulated waste fee will be incurred, if the yard has not been thoroughly cleaned within a week upon inspection of your first visit.
